Xiangjia Zhanjiawan Smart Ecological Layer Industrial Park integrates eco-friendliness, intelligent farming, and smart processing to create an industry-leading intensive production model. The project includes eight state-of-the-art 7-row 10-tier layer houses, each accommodating up to 187,500 hens-totaling 1.5 million layers across the park. With an annual output of 30,000 tons of fresh eggs, Phase I has already commissioned three houses, achieving a leading industry performance of 328 eggs per hen by 72 weeks of age.

On the morning of August 26, 2025, the academic exchange and technology promotion conference for the National Key R&D Project “Development and Application of Key Equipment for Livestock and Poultry Health Monitoring” under the 14th Five-Year Plan's key initiative “Key Technologies for Factory Farming and Intelligent Agricultural Machinery” was grandly held in the SCO Demonstration Zone, Jiaozhou, Qingdao.

In Huanggang, Hubei, a modern layer breeding base – Deyuan Layer Breeding Base – is showing strong momentum of development. The project covers a planned area of 80 mu, with 6 high-standard layer laying houses to be built. At present, Phase I of the project (3 laying houses) has all been completed and officially delivered for operation, while Phase II (the other 3 laying houses) is also being actively planned and advanced. Its scale and production capacity are set to reach a new level in the future.
