External Outposts: Key blocking facilities such as washing, disinfection, drying, and isolation are placed outside the core farm area, intercepting potential threats at the periphery.
Clean and Contaminated Flow Separation: Complete physical separation of “clean paths” for personnel, materials, and pigs from “contaminated paths” for manure and culled pigs eliminates cross-contamination.
Five-Tier Zoning: A five-level biosecurity protection circle—Red, Orange, Yellow, Blue, and Green—is established, with checkpoints and barriers layered from the outside to the core breeding population.
