Recently, the large-scale 1200-sow farm project in Vietnam, meticulously built and provided with full EPC services by Big Herdsman, has been fully completed and officially delivered to the client for operation. Currently, the nursery, farrowing, gestation, and gilt houses have all welcomed their “new residents,” marking a milestone success for this international project!

The project comprises a total of 13 pig houses, precisely covering all production stages including nursery, farrowing, gestation, breeding, gilt, and isolation. We customized a full set of pen systems for the pigs, ranging from nursery pens and farrowing crates to finishing pens, ensuring that every pig receives the most suitable living environment at different growth stages, truly achieving refined and animal welfare-oriented farming.

In response to the local climate conditions in Vietnam, Big Herdsman’s environmental control system operates at full capacity. Integrating environmental controllers, fans, cooling pads, inlets, and curtains, it precisely regulates the temperature, humidity, and ventilation inside the houses, akin to installing “smart air conditioning” for the farm. It constantly safeguards pig health, maximizing production performance.

The project is equipped with an automated feeding line system and a centralized feed supply system. Through silos, augers, chain-disk feed lines, and weighing systems, it achieves full-process automation from feed storage to precise delivery. Coupled with the water line system, it ensures the pigs are “well-provided for food and drink,” significantly improving feeding efficiency and management convenience.

Big Herdsman’s IoT centralized alarm system provides full coverage of the farm, acting like a tireless “security steward.” It conducts real-time monitoring of key environmental parameters and equipment status, triggering alarms for abnormalities, thereby resolving risks before they materialize and building a solid defense line for the stable operation of the modern pig farm.
