[Overseas Showcase] 250,000-Layer Modern Poultry Project in Indonesia Progressing Steadily

In the traditional poultry farming region of Indonesia, Big Herdsman has joined hands with a local client to launch a large-scale, modernized egg production project. With its advanced scale, automation, and intelligent features, the project has created

a strong impact in the local industry. The farm will house nearly 250,000 layers, with six modern layer houses, each capable of holding 40,500 birds.

01 Project Progressing Smoothly

Three houses have already been delivered and are in production. Equipment for Houses 4 and 5 is expected to arrive and begin installation in December.

The project is progressing as scheduled. Upon completion, it will become one of the most advanced and largest layer farms in the region,

significantly improving egg production efficiency and quality standards in Indonesia.

02 Technological Leadership

While most farms in Indonesia still rely on traditional free-range or A-frame cages, Big Herdsman has introduced state-of-the-art poultry technology, bringing a new wave of transformation to the local industry.

The project integrates Big Herdsman’s latest environmental control system, automated feeding system, and intelligent farm management platform,

boosting production efficiency and significantly enhancing egg quality and food safety.

Notably, according to feedback from the on-site production manager, the houses equipped with Big Herdsman systems are achieving markedly superior performance and egg production results.

This success is largely attributed to Big Herdsman’s unique cage ventilation design:Optimized airflow distribution ensures uniform 

ventilation inside the house;

Creates a more comfortable living environment for the layers;Effectively increases egg production rate and product quality.

This project not only highlights the technological advancement of Chinese livestock equipment, but also provides a practical

benchmark model for the upgrading of Indonesia’s poultry sector — serving as a regional demonstration of modern
